About
I'm Darsan Ghosh, known online as XpolioN, a third-year B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering student and developer focused primarily on game development and software development.
I work mainly with Godot and GDScript, while exploring the technical side of games through game engines, graphics, rendering, performance, and low-level programming.
I'm currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at Techno India University, West Bengal, where I am in my third year. Alongside my coursework, I spend most of my time building software and exploring areas of computer science that interest me beyond the surface level.
I started game development with Python and Pygame, building smaller projects while learning the fundamentals of programming, game loops, input, and rendering. I later moved to Godot and GDScript, which became my primary game development environment.
My interests have gradually moved toward the technical side of game development. I am particularly interested in how game engines work internally, how rendering pipelines produce frames, how graphics systems are designed, and how low-level code can be structured for performance and control.
Game development is my main creative and technical focus, but I also work across general software development. I use languages including Python, GDScript, C, C++, Rust, Java, C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript depending on the problem and environment.
I also build software and web projects using technologies such as React, Astro, and Flutter. This site itself is built form scratch with Astro.
